    രചയിതാവ്: ഫ്ലോറ ആനി സ്റ്റീൽ “മൂന്ന് ചെറിയ പന്നികൾ” എന്ന കഥ മൂന്ന് ചെറിയ പന്നികൾ മൂന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്ത തരം വസ്തുക്കളിൽ നിന്ന് മൂന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്ത വീടുകൾ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതാണ്. ഈ മൂന്ന് വസ്തുക്കൾ വൈക്കോൽ, വിറകുകൾ, ഇഷ്ടിക എന്നിവയാണ്. ആദ്യത്തെ പന്നി വൈക്കോൽ കൊണ്ട് നിർമ്മിച്ച ഒരു വീട് നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നു. പൂർത്തിയായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ ഒരു വലിയ ചീത്ത ചെന്നായ വന്ന് അവനോട് ഒരു വാചകം പറയുന്നു: “ചെറിയ പന്നി, ചെറിയ പന്നി, ഞാൻ അകത്തേക്ക് വരട്ടെ.” “എന്റെ ചിന്നി താടിയിലെ മുടി കൊണ്ടല്ല.” “എങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ഞരങ്ങും, ഞാൻ വീർപ്പിക്കും, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വീട് പൊട്ടിക്കും.” പന്നി ചെന്നായയോട് ഇല്ല എന്ന് പറയുന്നു, അതിനാൽ ചെന്നായ വീട് നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു പന്നിയെ തിന്നുന്നു. അതിനുശേഷം അവൻ രണ്ടാമത്തെ പന്നിയുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്നു, അതിന്റെ വീട് വിറകുകൾ കൊണ്ട് നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ ആ വാചകം ആവർത്തിക്കുന്നു, പന്നി ഇല്ല എന്ന് പറയുന്നു, പിന്നെ അവൻ വീട് നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ഒരിക്കൽ കൂടി പന്നിയെ തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഒടുവിൽ അവൻ മൂന്നാമത്തെ പന്നിയുടെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മാറുന്നു. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, മൂന്നാമത്തെ പന്നിയുടെ വീട് ഇഷ്ടിക കൊണ്ടാണ് നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ചെന്നായ വീട് തകർക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ പരാജയപ്പെടുന്നു. വീടു തകർക്കാനുള്ള ചെന്നായയുടെ ശ്രമം പരാജയപ്പെട്ടതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് അയാൾ പന്നിയെ കബളിപ്പിച്ച് വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. പന്നിയെ പല സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ കാണണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് കബളിപ്പിക്കാൻ അവൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു, പക്ഷേ പന്നി എപ്പോഴും ചെന്നായയെ മറികടക്കുന്നു. അവസാനം, ചെന്നായ പന്നിയുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് പോകാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച് തളർന്നു, അതിനാൽ അവൻ ചിമ്മിനിയിൽ കയറാൻ തീരുമാനിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ ചിമ്മിനിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ, പന്നി അവനെ തിളച്ച വെള്ളം നിറച്ച ഒരു കോൾഡ്രണിൽ പിടിക്കുന്നു, ചെന്നായയെ കുടുക്കുന്ന ലിഡ് അടച്ചു, എന്നിട്ട് അവനെ പാചകം ചെയ്ത് തിന്നുന്നു.
