Angela is an amazing author whose creative stories aspires children across the world to believe in themselves and be all who they desire to be regardless of what others think or speak. She majored in Human Resource Management at Houston Community College where she learned how to develop her literary skills to produce both educational and inspirational stories for children of all ages. Angela M. King wrote her first book in 2021, entitled “What Kind of Hair is This?” she sought to reassure little girls of their extraordinary beauty. Through her desire for authorship, she created the Its Tadpole Publishing firm so she could continue to produce inspirational stories for children of all ages. She named the firm Its Tadpole publishing after a childhood nickname given to her by her Uncle Roumell Babineaux who affectionately called her his little tadpole. In addition to being an author Angela has worked in the healthcare field for over 25 years providing medical billing, coding and collection. Today she is a Bariatric Coordinator for A Weight Loss Surgery Clinic where she seeks every day to inspire patients and staff to love themselves fully. Her hobbies include bike riding, working out, and taking care of her beautiful Ivy Vine Plants. On her time off she frequently volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House and with her church serving children with Special Needs her Champions. Angela also is currently active in her Southwest Crossing Community fighting against Environmental Racism & Injustice. Angela also volunteered for three years with Inspire Women under the leadership of Anita Carmen. She is an active member of “The Sisterhood in the Making” Organization (SITM) Founder Ms Mosland Whitaker which is a group of Beautiful Women supporting, encouraging and uplifting each other. She enjoys cooking her Famous Gumbo at Christmas, making Homemade Chili and Banana Pudding. Angela is the ninth child out of eleven children and the youngest of five girls. Her parents William H. King, III from Brazoria, TX & Madell Babineaux King from Opelousas, La both had elementary education, however all eleven kids graduated high school and attended college.
