Hello Reader,
There are thirteen books in the Jill Quint, MD murder mystery series. Each story takes place in a different locale. Dr. Jill Quint is the main character and a forensic pathologist by profession. She used to work in a state crime lab but left after becoming disillusioned with the bureaucracy and politics surrounding it. She now runs a vineyard in California's central valley that produces Moscato wine.
Jill also works as a private consultant providing a second opinion on the cause of death for families not satisfied with what they are being told about their loved one's death. She had developed a lab that serves two purposes: she can analyze specimens from a crime scene and she can create organic solutions to pest control and fertilizer for her grapevines.
Jill teams up with her three closest friends, who live in another part of the country, to try and solve a mystery. Each of her friends has special skills that help to get the job done. This series is a classic mystery, akin to James Patterson's Women's Murder Club. Pick up one of the books today!
In 2016, I introduced a brand new character: Damian Green, a talented engineer whose world had been shattered seven years ago with the passing of his wife and children. He lives off the coast of San Francisco in a private island (it's true!) and helps out an ex-cop from the San Jose PD. Red Rock Island was published that same year, followed by Willow Glen Heist (2017), The Girl From Diana Park (2018), Evergreen Valley Murder (2020), and Long Delayed Justice (2022).
2021 saw the launch of my third series - a blend of thriller and urban fantasy. Michelle Watson is a CIA operative who uses her special ability of teleportation to protect the US and the world from evildoers.
I'm an avid reader of mystery (mostly) and Urban Fantasy and romance (sometimes) and I've recently started exploring the paranormal mystery genre. My life has been on a journey around the United States, having lived in California (both Northern and Southern), New York City, Green Bay, WI, and Gainesville, FL. My blog is hosted on my website, www.AlecPecheBooks.com. Writing mysteries is like embarking on a grand adventure - I have to conceive of unexpected plot twists and deepening storylines to make the story more engaging.
I hope you will enjoy these stories!
