Alex Cassidy is an English author and sports historian based in London. He has written for a variety of publications including the Guardian, Gridiron Magazine, and Vice Sports.
He has written three books. One focusing on the history of London's first professional American football team and two others tackling the subject of chronic traumatic encephalopathy in rugby and American football.
In 2024 his work-in-progress novel was longlisted for the Bridport Novel Prize and shortlisted for the Plaza First Chapters Prize.
