Alex Mayberry was brought up in Willington, Co. Durham, before attending schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Drax, North Yorkshire. He has a degree in Business from the University of Sunderland and now lives in the historic city of Durham.
He began writing in 2020 and has self-published two short stories and works of poetry.
He recently released his first chapbook called 'Are you having fun?'
Alex's poetry is wide ranging in subject matter, occasionally funny, often reflective, and always relatable.
