Alex Vorobieff did not set out to be a writer. He decided to write his first book, Transform Your Company, because something was missing from the business lexicon and business school curriculums. The subject and term missing was Business Alignment Tools. Vorobieff worked for more than a decade as a clean-up CFO for many entrepreneurial companies. He realized he was often just treating the financial symptoms of bigger organizational issues and the best tools to resolve them had no accepted name. They were more than planning or management systems. Vorobieff set out to define the Business Alignment Tool world to help business leaders see which tools to use and in what order to remove the dysfunction from their businesses.
