Having immigrated to the United States from Moscow in her teens, Alexandra immediately proceeded to fall in love with the city of Pittsburgh, and has retained that love until now and can't help but write about Pittsburgh. Another city she loves is Paris, which also features prominently in her work.
Alexandra Pugachevsky holds a BA in International Relations and French from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
An international development professional by day, Alexandra has made Arlington, VA, her home for the last 25 years.
