Andreas Heger is a lawyer and writer who lives with his wife and children in Sydney. Originally from Toowoomba in Queensland, he studied as a Rhodes Scholar in Oxford before settling in Sydney where he works as a senior executive in the NSW Department of Justice. He is a former national level para-rowing athlete, speaks Italian and enjoys cooking and gardening. Andreas is legally blind. Cooktown is his first novel.
