Ann Heathman was born in Fort Wayne, IN, a small farming community in the Midwest. For twenty years, she taught middle school and worked in the dual role of a digital age literacy coach and educational consultant. She retired early from teaching and moved to Florida where she began a new career as a professional dog trainer. In 2013 she penned her first book, Deny Tomorrow. Her first books were in the genre of romantic suspense. Her latest offerings have been in the category of True Crime. She currently lives in sunny Florida where she trains dogs and writes.
