Annie Kosinski wrote her first book at the age of six on construction paper, which was then laminated and stapled in the middle. It featured original "Magic Marker" illustrations and such scintillating facts as "some dinosaurs are big and some dinosaurs are small". She has since found slivers of time here and there to work on some short fiction and a novella, with several other things in various stages of progress.
Annie has previously worked as an elementary school paraprofessional and an elementary school librarian. She currently proofreads and edits audio books for Chicago Audio Books.
When she's not working or writing, Annie is most likely at orchestra rehearsal, baking cupcakes, spending time with friends, or attempting to burn calories at the gym. If she's not doing any of those things, she is probably reading, which is how she tends to fill all random gaps of idle time. She lives Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood with her fiance.
