Over half of April's life has been spent living and studying topics like sexual abuse, domestic violence, dangerous personalities, stalking, and intimate partner homicide (aka femicide). She has always been known as a counselor to people who cross her path. Her empathy and understanding allow people feel comfortable talking freely with her. April knows that she is not alone in the abuses she has endured. So many of you have been hurt too. She's tired of the silence and shame that gives abusive people power.
April wants to be a voice for the masses. She hopes to create change in the ways we handle abuse, to protect people who have not yet been through it, to guide those who are currently being abused out of it, and to save lives.
