Art loves playing tennis--his serve once shattered his opponent's wooden racket on a freezing court! When he's not enjoying tennis, you might find him lost in the thrilling world of Jason Bourne movies, imagining himself as the elusive hero.
But Art's not all action and intensity. He's also a huge fan of James Taylor's music, owning 20 CDs and attending any JT concert he can find.
Beyond his hobbies, Art is deeply committed to mentoring and ministry. He mentors nine men each year through the Radical Mentoring program, and he's passionate about spreading the message of grace through mission workshops in Russia, China, and Mexico.
With a Doctor of Ministry degree from Abilene Christian University, Art teaches at Dallas Christian College and planted Bridgeway Church, envisioning a community of faith without walls.
Family is everything to Art, and he's proud of his four daughters and six grandchildren. Married to his love, Holly, Art finds strength and support in her.
