B.C. James is a professional writer and engineer. He first got interested in writing after reading the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol. He was fascinated by Dickens' ability to tell a story while leaving just enough untold that it allowed the reader's mind to fill in the holes.
Following college where James majored in history (a degree he does not endorse for anyone whose career aspirations don't include the words "would you like fries with that?"), he began writing professionally. During his career James' work has appeared in major newspapers, national print publications, scores of websites, and he has written for a number of Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. James is a sci-fi and pop culture addict. His favorite authors are Piers Anthony, Douglas Adams, Charles Dickens, C.S. Lewis, and Brom. also reads any history book he can get his hands on and has a particular interest in the myths and religions of ancient cultures. This love of mythology is heavily reflected in his work.
