I was born in Iowa, grew up as a pastor’s kid, and eventually became a pastor myself. What I later learned was that becoming a pastor was my way of coping with wounds and trauma that had built up within me since childhood. I have since given up being a pastor and turned my focus to becoming an author.
My lovely wife has been a steady presence in my life. We were married in 2005 and adopted our son in 2019. They have been the greatest teachers in my life as I’ve journeyed toward a greater sense of wholeness.
I love writing, and I love exploring the inner journey. I combine these two passions in my books to help give people hope to make the next step in their own story. I invite you to explore my work and see what you are inspired to move toward in life.
