Bette Bono is the author of the historical fiction, time travel novels The Better Angels and Fear Itself, and the short story collection Neighbors and Other Stories. Before beginning her writing career, Bette worked as a political analyst in Washington, D.C., then earned a law degree from Harvard and relocated to Connecticut. After a decade of work as an attorney, Bette turned to public school teaching, serving both in the classroom and as a teachers' union steward. Bette lives in Connecticut with her family.
