Bevan has always been driven by the question: ‘What does it take to create a lifetime love of fitness where people experience all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle choices?’. Through his own experiences and the experiences of helping others, he has learnt valuable lessons and insights into what it takes to create a love of fitness so that movement and exercise become a necessary and rewarding part of our daily lives. Since 1999, Bevan has been a world leading fitness professional, a high level athlete and continues to inspire and motivate people across the globe. He has achieved top awards and recognition within his industry and is recognised and respected throughout the sports and fitness world. Bevan has achieved a lot during his career as a fitness professional, an athlete and a content creator: As a fitness professional: • 3 x National Fitness Instructor of the year • Travelled the globe training other fitness professionals • Represented Les Mills as an International Master Trainer • Created New Zealand’s most successful running group training business • Teaches and leads over 1000 people a week to discover and evolve their love of exercise As an athlete: • Completed as a high level Ironman triathlete • Represented New Zealand at the Hawaii Ironman • Completed the gruelling Epic Camp training camp, where he did over 104 hours of exercise in 12 days • Competed in countless marathons and endurance cycling events As a content creator: • Has three highly successful and respected fitness podcasts • Has been a regular writer for his country’s leading newspapers • The author of a top selling fitness book ‘The Fitness Attitude’ and 'I Will Make You Passionate About Exercise' • A mentor and personal coach for clients around the world While Bevan is proud of all his achievements both personally and what he has helped others achieve, he is most proud of what he and his team are doing to help non-exercisers bring exercise into their lives with his Get up to Five beginner running programme. Bevan and his team have guided, supported and trained thousands of non-exercisers to run 5km and have helped them develop a love for movement. ‘When you help someone that isn’t exercising discover the love of movement and regular exercise, you see them create massive shifts.
