Formerly an elementary school teacher and counselor, Brenda Poulos has written Christian Fiction for the past ten years. Her concern for families suffering abuse and her passion to reveal the power of forgiveness prompted the writing of her first novel, Runaways: The Long Journey Home. The catalyst for writing this book was a recurring dream.
Her second book, The Choice: Will's Last Testament, is the story of ordinary people faced with the decision to follow Christ. Readers have purchased multiple copies as they see that it is a powerful evangelistic tool. Her hope is that many people come to know Jesus through this unique story depicting the eternal results of today's decisions.
Her Simon Says four-book series was completed in 2022. Those books are: Simon Says, Truth or Dare, Tug of War, and Cat's Cradle. A novella, Mending Fences, a half dozen short stories, followed.
This author published Justice for Jessie: Forgiving the Unforgivable in 2023. The suspense novel became an immediate best-seller.
Brenda is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and recently relocated from Arizona to her new home in Nevada where she is a member of Anthem Authors in Henderson.
Brenda is married, has four adult children, and eight grandchildren. She enjoys reading, home renovations, and traveling.
