Brent has been an educator in Southern California since 1996 as an elementary school teacher, principal, and district office administrator.
In 2019, Brent released Stories of EduInfluence: 10 Life-Changing Powers to Unleash in Your School with EduMatch Publishing. Described by one reader as "Chicken Soup for the Teacher's Soul," it is a collection of real-life stories from Brent's experience in the classroom and front office that will remind educators of the life-changing difference they make, even on those days when it doesn't feel like it.
In 2022, he fulfilled a life-long dream and self-published his children's book titled The Gift. An illustrated tale for ages 8 and up, it is filled with adventure, courage, hope, and a reminder that good things come to those who persevere.
