Brett Shaffer is an author and teacher, born and raised in Boise, Idaho. He has a BA in Elementary Education and Special Education. He is a writer of fantasy for teens and young adults and his debut young adult fantasy novel, A Flower Amidst the Flames, following a young princess assassin, is available on Amazon and a sequel is on the way.
He currently lives in Boise with his partner, tuxedo cat, and bearded dragon. When he is not writing, you can find him reading the next best thing, playing tennis, and occasionally winning at Magic the Gathering.
