A teacher once described her as, “Either the meanest nice person or the nicest mean person I have ever met.” As such, she strives to write books, characters, and relationships which cannot be readily confined to any category. Instead, choosing to straddle the occasionally uncomfortable boundaries between expectations while, hopefully, writing books as enjoyable the second read through as the first. When not writing, she spends her time caring for family members, seeing patients, or cuddling with her cats, should they deign to bestow such favors upon her.
