C.M. Serpell lives in the South West of England. She can often be found roaming Dartmoor with her dog, daydreaming and thinking up ideas for her next project.
She spent most of her career working in a prison. Whilst there, she worked with men convicted of a wide range of offences. She worked in various roles from rehabilitation and substance misuse, to teaching business start-up and social enterprise. She has now hung up her keys and fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a published author.
