Caitlyn Land was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, lived in Purvis, Mississippi until almost a week after Hurricane Katrina devastated the South. Caitlyn lived in Black River, New York for two-and-a-half years while her father was deployed in Iraq, and then moved to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. She lived there with her family, reunited with her father, as well, and dwelt there until early 2013. Caitlyn returned to Mississippi after her father retired out of the military and began to write more in her spare time. By early 2014, she had her first book published through Angstadt Content Development, and by late 2015, she had her second book published. Feeling the spark of creativity burn out and die for the series she had attempted to mold from ink and paper, Caitlyn could not find it in her to adequately end The Whispers of Wandering Souls series, thus creating a perpetual cliffhanger. Though she found herself not able to proliferate after the second book in the series, she has become an incredibly productive writer, publishing one more book since 2015, and even currently has two more manuscripts in the process of being written and edited. Caitlyn Land is a lover of horror and suspense, and she finds writing as a good outlet to vent her frustration and rage. This has become apparent in her writing. Be sure to stay up-to-date with her works and check out her books on Amazon. "Blood Drawn" is now available as an audio book through Audible.
