Hi, I'm Cal Moriarty, novelist and screenwriter-director. I've been writing since I was very little, back then it was short plays and stories, and now it's multi-layered crime stories and movies in every genre. My novels tend to be set in the States a place I love and used to live. In fact, I used to live in Shirley Temple's old mansion in Beverly Hills when I worked for well known US stars and screenwriting Oscar nominees Joe Bologna and Renee Taylor. And my other claim to fame is that I'm a cousin of the beautiful and talented Hollywood icon the late Princess Grace of Monaco, although not a close enough relation to ever get invited to the Palace!
