I spent many years in the Salerno Crime Family of New York City, and now I am out. I no longer fear for my life, and I don’t carry two handguns to protect myself. For most of my life, wiseguys surrounded me and they all wanted to know what I could do for them. This included the endless scores bosses ordered me to do, the scores I helped others do, and the scores I came up with myself. Over the years, I watched plenty of guys get locked up for crimes they committed, and their way of life led them to a twelve-man room, with all of their belongings in the world fitting in a 4’ x 2’ locker. At the low security prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey, bosses and made guys live together as roommates. They know everyone in their room because everyone is from the same neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens. Years go by, and they grow old in prison. They develop heart and kidney problems. They fall apart and wait for the end, no thanks. I have better plans.
