Carlos Hernández de Miguel. Journalist and writer. Born in Madrid, Spain, 1969. Bachelor of Journalism, Complutense University of Madrid. He began his career at Antena 3 Television as a parliamentary correspondent. He later worked as a war correspondent in various international conflicts: Former Republic of Yugoslavia, Kosovo, Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq. Between 2003 and 2011 he was editor-in-chief of the weekly magazine "La Clave", and a political and business advisor. Among the awards he has received are the "Víctor de la Serna" for best journalist in 2003, awarded by the Madrid Press Association (APM), and the "Ortega y Gasset" for journalism, awarded by "El País" newspaper to special envoys to Iraq. As a writer, in 2015 published "Los últimos españoles de Mauthausen", in 2017 (with the illustrator Ioannes Ensis) "Deportado 4443" and in 2019 "Los campos de concentración de Franco". Since 2015 he writes in the digital newspaper "Eldiario".
