Caroline Giammanco is an author, educator, and criminal justice reform advocate. She grew up on a farm in the Ozark Mountains of southern Missouri. After high school, she attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She later completed the post-baccalaureate education program at the University of Arizona. She has taught English in public schools for over twenty years in Arizona, New Mexico and now Missouri. Bank Notes is her first book, and it follows the journey of the middle class, single father of twins, who was a successful independent stock options trader before falling on hard economic times during the Great Recession. He becomes known as the Boonie Hat Bandit as he delves into a year-long double life of loving father and notorious bank robber. Her second release, entitled Guilty Hearts, gives readers an inside look into the seldom understood world of prison relationships. What makes a woman stay with a man who is behind bars?
