Celaine Charles lives in the Pacific Northwest where she teaches elementary school, writes poetry and fiction, and blogs about her writing journey on her site, Steps In Between. The world around inspires her craft, and she thrives encouraging others to follow in their own creative paths. Her YA Fantasy, Seam Keepers (The Wild Rose Press), May 2021, won a Moonbeam Books golden first place award for YA Fantasy/Sci-fi, November 2021, and a NEST (National Excellence in Story Telling) third place award in Paranormal, July 2022! This novel is currently short-listed for the Chanticleer International Book Awards in the Fantasy category. The audio-version is available now! She has a new paranormal holiday romance, Stained Glass Secrets and Star Wishes (The Wild Rose Press, Christmas Cookies Series), November 2022. This book was a finalist in the NEST awards and is currently short-listed for the Chanticleer International Book Awards in the Novella category. Her poetry book, Colors Collected (Palmetto Group), August 2019, is a creation stemmed from her online poetry series, Colors, hosted on Channillo, which was awarded Best Continuing Series, Best New Series, and Best Poetry Series for the 2018 Channillo Awards. Celaine's newest collection, Three Hearts Stitched, Poems About Adoption (Egret Lake Books), January 2024, is her first full length contemporary poetry book.
