In her career as a textile designer, Celeste was commissioned to design over a dozen stencil and charted design books for Dover Publications. An avid reader, her interest is focused on European and American classic novels and history books from the 17th through mid-20th century, which have greatly influenced her writing style. She uses her knowledge of history, art and music to add color to her stories. Currently, she writes stories of romance that have dark connections to supernatural beings, using her knowledge of history to paint rich settings for her characters who dwell in places she has lived, including New York and London. Having just published her collection of mysterious and paranormal love stories, MIRTH AND OTHER DARK TALES OF LOVE, and her first novel, THE HARPSICHORDIST, is a delicious new novel which begins in early 18th century, up to present day, whose protagonist, a harpsichord builder from 18th century London, is transformed into a vampire against his will. Miles Beaumont, the novel's main character, is not a typical vampire. Celeste is excited to share with you her new award-winning novel, BLUE JAY'S NIGHT CLUB: A Romance of Prohibition New York which is now available. Constantly soul-searching in hopes of finding meaning in his undead life, Miles' intellect saves him from being just another blood hungry monster. Even without a soul, he remembers the love he shared with his young family in 1731, and this devotion drives his pursuit of a mate of his own kind. THE HARPSICHORDIST is an esoteric, historical, romantic tale, that spans over two hundred years in London, New York, and Paris.
