Charlene Grace is on a mission to provide resources to children of incarcerated parents and those who care about them. She seeks to regard her audience with the respect they deserve while helping them come to terms with some hard realities. Her characters help kids find ways to both cope and thrive. Her writing first developed as she penned hundreds of letters to her incarcerated father. She is a twice Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Middle-Grade English Language Arts achieved while teaching fourth and fifth grades for nearly 30 years (and a few college courses, too). She now works part-time in library reference and loves walking her beloved dog, Gracie Roo, in the Metroparks near her home in Northern Ohio.
