There is never a good time to quit. But after 25 years in private practice at top tier law firms, Chloé Archambault said goodbye to the office and the partnership and started a new life as a sole practitioner, a writer and an amateur photographer. Now, instead of talking all day to clients, she has coffee in the morning with imaginary friends, one of them Ekaterina Yegorova, a Russian agent roaming the streets of Montreal.
Chloé writes with the visual in mind and a strong imagery is a defining facet of her writing style. The reader is the camera; observing, getting close and falling down hard.
A born and bred Montrealer, Chloé lives with her family in her beloved city, where she studied literature, then law, and earned her degrees. She complains about the extreme cold of its winter and the suffocating heat of its summer but wouldn't move anywhere else.
