Chris Coltran has worked in the sales industry for over 28 years, in both wholesale and retail, manufacturing and distribution where he has held various management positions and attained numerous sales awards. Chris focuses on retail sales and the relationships salespeople need to build with their clients through personality and behavior analysis.
He believes that everyone, regardless of their profession, has been in sales their whole life. "Everyone who has a job is selling themselves everyday, without even realizing it." In his first book, "Selling to Your Grandmother," Chris illustrates that everyone should treat their customers as if they were selling to their own Grandmother. You wouldn't lie to her, you wouldn't take advantage of her and you wouldn't sell her something you wouldn't buy.
Mr. Coltran has worked as a corporate sales trainer for various companies, and has worked as a sales and marketing consultant to various retail businesses, manufacturers, as well as dealers in the automotive industry. He blogs and writes for selling publications and has his own podcast.
He is married with two children, and takes an active role in his community as well as volunteering his time to local charities.
