Adams worked in education for 18 years and now serves as the Outreach and Connections Coordinator at Fellowship Baptist Church. She is passionate about connecting people within the Body of Christ and helping fellow believers find a place to serve and grow. Her writing career includes a weekly inspirational column for Greene Publishing and regular contributions to Vinewords.net and Inspireafire.com. Christy is a multi-award winner in a variety of literary categories as well as a contributor to two inspirational anthologies. Her most important role, however, is that of a wife, and mother to two busy, adventurous boys. Christy’s love for reading and writing was fueled first by her mother, and then by her middle and high school English teachers. These amazing humans exposed her to authors and literature that set her soul ablaze and stirred her ever growing imagination. With a natural bent toward encouraging others, Christy loves to share the life-giving breath of words with everyone she meets. As God has so radically grown Christy in her walk with Him, she desires to share the hope of Christ with others she encounters on life’s journey. If she can offer even a strand of hope to a hurting soul, her mission is accomplished. Her debut book (2022) is a devotional, Learning As I Go: Big Lessons from Little People. Her second book (2023) is a middle grades (8-12 year olds) novel, The Adventures of Cricket and Kyle: Imagination Checkers
