Cleran Hollancid is an author, professor, presenter and thinker. Among a variety of activities, he particularly enjoys writing and research about God, science, and society. His teaching has taken him through a number of fields and courses, including ethics, philosophy and history (American history), sociology, and comparative religion. He also has a passion for engaging in discourse at macro and micro levels; for e.g., the universe and our place in it, along with such discussions as that pertaining to origins, ontology, teleology, and epistemology. With a multidisciplinary background, Cleran continues to engage issues in life which some may find too challenging to even touch. He also wrote a critical book taking a closer look at the philosophy of evolution, entitled: 'Evolution Declassified: Just When You Thought It Was All Settled'. Cleran holds a B.A. in Theology, and three master-level degrees in Divinity, Anthropology (four-field approach, symbology emphasis), and Sociology. His Ph.D. is in Sociology of Religion. It is a pleasure for Cleran to present at various venues and forums as well. He can be reached at cleran.l.hollancid@wmich.edu.
