Crina-Ludmila Cristea is an independent author. She writes and publishes adult fiction, non-fiction, and kids books. She is a promoter of a lifestyle as close to nature as possible and plans on having her own food forest — a creative retreat. She occasionally interviews artists and shares their work with the world using her YouTube and other social media channels. In 2012 she graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a degree in Film, Radio, and Television. In 2016 she published her first non-fiction book about the woodcarving work of her father, and in 2017 she released her first novel, Velvet Touch (which was banned in Germany, Austria, and Australia for a while). The novel was translated into French in 2018. In 2019 she published Whispers and Other Strange Stories in print, ebook and audiobook formats. In 2020 she published her three illustrated books for children. The first one was titled Pash and the Blue Bicycle. The second one, published in July, was titled Miss Camelia and the Hugelkultur Mound. Mirabela and the Empire of Trees was her third book for kids. She is now working on Midnight Tears (the sequel to her debut novel), Tender is the Rain (a standalone psychological thriller), Arthur the Frightened Bunny, and other short stories for kids and adults. Currently, she lives in Manchester, the United Kingdom. She is originally from Vrancea, Romania.
