I earned a B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Cum Laude, from the University of Illinois, as well as an M.S. in Astronautical Engineering. I worked as a Senior Engineer-Scientist at McDonnell Douglas during the Cold War. I was part of a team responsible for analyzing the plasma wakes of incoming Russian ICBM payloads in order to determine which were "live" weapons and then design avionics to shoot them down.
I have had a lifelong affair with cosmology - the history & future of the universe. I continue to seek knowledge and learn.
My obituary will say: "He learned all he possibly could."
