The author, a former journalist (The Baltimore Sun), now writes screenplays, one of which has been optioned by a producer, and sustained an acting career in Hollywood. However, having studied with some of the greats in theater, opera, improvisation, and creativity, he explicitly brings what he has learned to his memoir. “His long life” also survived alcohol addiction, being Gay in a hostile world, and 53 years of recovery. Alan Arkin, the co-founder of Chicago’s Second City troupe, is an Oscar winner. Norman Seef continues to videograph talent today to study their creativity.
