David King is a longtime freelance writer who has published in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago magazine, the Chicago Reader, the Philadelphia Inquirer and other publications in the United States and France. He holds a bachelor’s in the humanities from Swarthmore College and a master’s in the social sciences from the University of Chicago, as well as a certificate in mediation from the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago.
