Reader's Comments 4 Stars: Reviewed by Rosie Malezer for Readers' Favorite Fuzzy and Romeo Adventures The Mysterious Intruder by Dawn Marie Carlson Children - Animals Kindle Edition Reviewed on 05/14/2017 Book Review "The Mysterious Intruder is a Fuzzy and Romeo Adventures book, written and illustrated for children by Dawn Marie Carlson. After hearing an intruder at their Grammy’s back door, Fuzzy (a seven-year-old Shih Tzu) and Romeo (an American Eskimo Dog) take up pursuit, leading them to a nearby park. When no sign of the intruder is found, the dogs call together members of The Pooch Club to assist with their search. A grey squirrel with an acorn is cornered, but is not the intruder. When they finally catch the guilty party, Fuzzy and Romeo realize that all is not what it appeared to be. The wonderfully child-like adventures in The Mysterious Intruder were a delight to read, with each of the members of The Pooch Club having their own very unique and individual personality traits. Using the clues given and putting their heads together, Fuzzy, Romeo and their friends search the local area, in the hopes of finding the intruder which had been at their back door. I loved the simplicity in the storyline, and that some of the dogs were almost human-like in their appearance and behavior. The communication, cooperation and interesting ways in which each of the animals interacted was highly imaginative, and any child would love the fun and frolicking in this mysterious children's tale. Dawn Marie Carlson’s imaginative story about two dogs who are friends and protectors was well written, fun, and will be a joy to read for all friends and fans of animals, whether big or small and for young dog owners alike." https://readersfavorite.com/pdf-review?id=134238 “A real delight for animal lovers and lovers of others, as they follow our friends through their quest to only find that all species are interconnected." -Mark Susnow, J.D., Author of "The Soul of Uncertainty," "Dancing on the River," and "Discover the Leader Within," Executive-Life Coach, and Motivational Speaker, Host: Inspire Possibility radio show, inspirepossibility.com, San Anselmo, California “Just finished reading ‘Fuzzy and Romeo’s Adventure – The Mysterious Intruder.’ The first few sentences caught my attention right away and I couldn’t wait to find out more about the search.
