Dr. Deb Finch is an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. A believer in the power of experiential education, service learning and study abroad experiences, she is passionate about lifelong learning. Through her 30 years of active community involvement, including volunteering and serving on local nonprofit boards (Lowell Association for the Blind, Pollard Memorial Library Foundation & others), Deb saw first-hand how nonprofits struggle to effectively utilize social media. She wants nonprofits to understand how social media can help them advance their mission, through education and awareness of their purpose.
When she is not teaching, Deb enjoys reading, hiking, biking and cross country skiing.
