Desmon grew up a curious little boy, always enchanted and fascinated to know how things worked. He learned from his father many talents and skills and always loved to fly with him. He bought his first car, a 1967 Mercury Cougar, at 11 years old and rebuilt the engine by age 12. Before he was 16, he had bought and sold three vehicles. For most of Desmon’s life, he has been self employed, owning companies he developed and sold, including a printing company, a sign manufacturing business, a newspaper which is still in print 25 years later, a computer store, and a limousine and Alaska tourism business. Desmon has built or repaired over 35 experimental aircraft and has been the test pilot for many aircraft for clients. He developed safe training procedures for gyroplane training and is certified in Rotax aviation engine repair. He has worked in some of the harshest conditions known, including the scalding deserts in Arizona above 130 F, and on the edge of the Arctic Ocean with wind chills at -130 F and in places that have never seen a human footprint until he stepped there. Desmon served in the US Marine Corps in 1990 during Desert Storm and graduated top of his class in two schools as a Marine. He is happily married to the love of his life. He has 5 children and 16 grandchildren. He still builds cars and aircraft. You can find Desmon on Facebook, and be sure to check out his YouTube Channel (AlaskanLimoGuy) with close to one million views on a variety of all topics.
