Don Follis grew up in a family out on the High Plains of Northwestern Kansas where everyone always was "Just Fine"! He calls it the Land of Numb. As a 45-year pastor and counselor, Don now knows that no one is ever just fine, regardless of what they say. One day when he told his wife he was just fine, she told him fine is a grade of sandpaper. Today Don works hard to fully integrate his emotional and spiritual life--doing his best to stay fully present, feeling all sorts painful and positive emotions.
