I am a disciple of Jesus, the Christ. That is the description and reputation I covet. The book, "A Life of Miracles" was written primarily to give a series of snapshots into the life of 'normal' people who simply decide to obey and follow Jesus. My hope in writing that book is to encourage and inspire others to live all-out for Jesus and see what great things follow!
Our 'discipleship journey' took us from a typical suburban, white-collar existence to a exciting mission that eventually let to preaching in 15 countries and evangelizing and church planting on four continents. We have seen almost every kind of miracle imaginable in the course of the years. The greatest and most precious miracles, of course, are when we see someone give their life to Jesus in repentance and faith... and they experience, share in, the joy that we have in Him.
My sweetheart and ministry partner, Leia, and myself were saved at the tail end of the Jesus People movement. I was 'weekend hippie'. Discovering that Jesus was alive, God in a 'knowable' form, revolutionized my life. I wanted to tell everyone and I wanted to do everything He did and be as much like Him as God would help me to be. All these years later He is still my chief pursuit and telling people about Him is still my greatest joy!
We have lived in Uganda, Germany, Thailand, Rwanda, and - of course - the USA.
We now live in northeast Florida and are involved in Evangelism and Church Planting. I am ordained as an Anglican Presbyter (pastor). I was a pastor and missionary with a Pentecostal Group similar to the Assemblies of God for twenty-plus years. While a missionary in Rwanda (2003-2011) I was ordained, first as a deacon, then as a 'priest' in the Anglican Province of Rwanda, in the Diocese of Gahini. Gahini was the site of a great visitation of God called 'the East African Revival', which eventually touched all of East Africa and is still going on today.
We have two grown children and five grand-children. I love to connect with those who have read our book. You can visit my facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/alifeofmiracle/
