Drema Deòraich is an award-winning writer of speculative fiction that asks big questions. Her short stories have appeared in Mithila Review, Electric Spec, All Worlds Wayfarer, Underside Stories, and other zines. Her first published novel, Entheóphage, a science-fiction/ecofiction story that tackles big "what if?" questions about human interactions with Nature, was released in 2022, and won the Literary Titan Gold Book Award in November of 2024. Entheóphage is available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook. Her current project, The Founder's Seed trilogy, takes place in a far-future space-based setting, with 12 human colony worlds and Iridos, home of the shapeshifting unammi. Book one, Fallen, is now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook. Book two is in the final stages of preparation before publication, and is expected to release in November. Book three ("Driven") is in the works and will be coming in the Spring of 2025. A long-time resident of Southeastern Virginia, Drema is also a legal assistant, sometime gardener, spider savior, Nature-lover, and cat mom who lives with her husband, two rescued felines, and all her other characters. When she’s not writing, she recharges with quiet moments spent among trees, surrounded by Nature.
