Being a writer is who I am and not what I do. I don't remember wanting to be anything else; well, except when I was five and wanted to be a giraffe (whole other issue). For my tenth birthday, while most little girls back in the '50's were asking for dolls, I wanted a typewriter. And, yes, my parents got it for me! I wrote many a corny story involving me and my friends. It wasn't until my twenties that I begun to submit my manuscripts to publishers; my first work was a romantic comedy: Tender Temptation. I have written and published many books in various genres over the years: historical romance, vampires, werewolves, paranormal, science fiction, crime fiction, co-authored gay erotic. Recently published (May 31, 2017) a historical romance and presently working on another. Most of my novels are inspired by dreams, books, TV (one scene or expression on a character's face can fire the imagination); even what someone may say to me. Of course, if I don't like what they say I kill them off in my book! At forty-six years old, I returned to school: The Art Institute of Philadelphia for video production. The great loves of my life are my four adult sons: David, Jimmy, Andrew and Eric, my three furry babies (cats): Tiberius (yes, after Captain James Tiberius Kirk. I'm a Star Trek freak!), Tobias and Todd and, oh yeah, my husband Jim of forty-two years. I was born and raised in Philly and, currently still live in the City of Brotherly Love.
