Welcome to a transformative journey with Eleonore, a resilient survivor of genocide at the age of six. Born in Rwanda, the country was on the brink of genocide when she was 6, although she escaped death, not the trauma. Forced to flee to a foreign land, she adopted a new culture and assumed a new identity, giving birth to Eleonore.
Eleonore, however, was a mask, a facade that hid her true self. She learned to act, behave, and live like Eleonore, but inside, she felt like a stranger in her own body and in her own head. This internal conflict led to her first split in identity.
The trauma didn’t stop there. She endured years of physical, mental, and emotional abuse. At 13, she tried to kill herself and ended up in a coma. When she woke up, she had to find a way to continue living. This led to her second split in identity, another mask to hide the pain, hide the trauma, hide the shame, and hide the guilt of surviving.
Everything changed with the COVID-19. The global lockdown forced her to confront her true self. She began to peel away all the masks one by one, to embrace her emotions, and reclaim her identity. This was her turning point, the moment she decided to change.
Inspired by her transformative journey, she wrote her first poetry collection “Re/awakening -The Spiritual Journey of a Resilient Survivor” and created a coaching program to help others navigate their own paths. A program designed to help you embrace your true nature, heal from trauma, and reawaken your godly essence. Every month, Eleonore offers 10 spots for a FREE 5-day challenge (1:1) to help you start your own journey.
She shares her story because she believes in the power of connection and transformation. She hopes that by sharing her journey, she can inspire others to embark on their own paths of self-discovery and healing. You are not alone in your struggle, and she is here to guide you every step of the way.
