With a personal connection to the military, Ginger is married to a career Infantryman with thirty five years of active duty service in the Army. Retired now, he is working for the University of Texas System in Austin, Texas. They have three grown and wonderful children who are successful in their own right, and one beautiful granddaughter. While her life has been supporting military families, she enjoys doing research, writing and the escapism that it brings.
