Greg Hammond is the Chief Executive Officer of Hammond Iles Wealth Advisors, and co-founder of Planned Giving Strategies®. Greg leads a team of professional financial advisors providing customized wealth management and investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, companies, and charitable organizations across the U.S. As a recognized leader in the fields of wealth management and charitable giving, Greg serves as a valuable resource for other successful business owners and service professionals. He has extensive personal and professional experience in small business and the financial complexities unique to entrepreneurs. From retirement planning, to succession planning, and implementing a donor's philanthropic plans, Greg brings with him a breadth of knowledge cultivated from over twenty years in investment management and financial services. Greg co-hosted Planning for Tomorrow on CBS network WTIC News Talk 1080AM for over three years. Radio shows across the country have interviewed him on charitable giving and building a legacy based on his book, You Can Do More That Matters. In media interviews, Greg talks to CNBC on the topic of succession planning, the Wall Street Journal on Earning Income While Making a Gift, and the Hartford Business Journal Nonprofit Notebook for Planned Giving. Greg is a keynote and session speaker at national and regional conferences, estate planning councils, religious and nonprofit organizations. A graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio with a B.A. in Accounting, Greg is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, True Wealth Consultant, and Certified Public Accountant. Greg is committed to making a difference, and supports nonprofit and charitable organizations through sponsorship, board, and committee involvement. He has participated in Habitat for Humanity and led group mission trips in the United States and Mexico. Greg is a board member of The Planned Giving Group of Connecticut (PGGCT) and Advisory Board member for The Connecticut Forum. He serves as Corporator for Connecticut Community Care, and Treasurer for Westminster Presbyterian Church. He is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy (AiP). Greg and his business partner, Scott Iles host annual fundraising events in support of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Greg lives in West Hartford, Connecticut with his wife and their two daughters. He enjoys research and writing, tennis, and a challenging round of golf when he is not at the office or enjoying time with his family.
