Award-winning author Greg Mongrain believed he was destined to be a quarterback in the NFL. After unsuccessfully attempting to acquire a football-shaped meteorite from NASA, he decided to write science fiction and fantasy stories with a paranormal crime twist. As a child, he wondered if vampires were real, and was terrified of killer shrews. He still fears them both. The horror story is his favorite, and he's a fan of slasher films.
An accountant for thirty years, Greg lives in the seaside town of Oxnard, California.
