My name is Greg Park. I am a teacher by trade and an author by hobby. The Earthsoul Prophecies is my first fantasy series and is complete at five books. Veil of Darkness, Book One in the series, received the USA BOOK NEWS Best Book Award for Fantasy in 2007. A follow-up trilogy for the same world is underway, as are numerous short stories and a couple of origin stories. I am also the author of the young adult science fiction novel Sividious Stark and the Stadium Between Worlds.
I was born and raised in Provo, Utah, and spent much of my youth fishing the Provo River and camping and hunting in the Wasatch Mountains with my father and brothers.
For nine months out of the year I can be found in my classroom at Timpanogos High School, where I teach English and Japanese and courses in creative writing, science fiction literature, and student government. I use the quiet time after my students leave to continue pursing my hobby as a writer.
I'm still an avid outdoorsman and spend much of my "free" time fishing, hunting, and camping with my wife and children in Utah’s backcountry.
