Gregory Pekar was born and raised in New York City. After graduating from Hunter College he spent a number of years traveling abroad and performing off and off-off Broadway in Manhattan. After spending over ten years living in Tokyo, Japan as a working actor he moved back to the United States. He currently resides in Hollywood, California.
